Family Programs

Our Mission is to establish and facilitate ongoing communication, involvement, support, and recognition between our Guard Families and the Guard in a partnership that promotes the best in both.

National Guard Members and their Families often lose track of the benefits and services they are eligible for, some processes can be confusing and may seem overwhelming. Our eleven NCNG Family Assistance Centers are disbursed across the State for Service Members and Families and are equipped with Specialists who are trained to assist with benefits, information, and referral.

Family Assistance Centers

Soldier Family Readiness Specialists (SFRS) are employees who provide confidential assistance to Service Members and their Families on an individual basis regardless of deployment status or branch of service. Contact a Soldier Family Readiness Specialist today.

Child Care Aware

CCAoA is a national membership-based nonprofit organization working to advance a high-quality, affordable and equitable child care system that supports children’s growth, development, and early education. Founded in 1987, we advocate for child care policies that improve the lives of children and families, lead research that advances the child care and early learning field, leverage technology to help families make informed decisions about child care and provide professional development for child care providers

Every family in the United States has access to a high-quality, affordable child care system. The child care system supports children’s growth, development and educational advancement and creates a positive economic impact for families and communities. We advance a child care system that effectively serves all children and families. Our work is strengthened by a national network of child care resource and referral agencies and diverse members and partners.
