The North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) Integrated Behavioral Health System (IBHS) is driven by a team of contracted, qualified, licensed psychotherapists and wellness advocates. The IBHS is dedicated to helping all Reserve Component (RC) Servicemembers and their Families by assessing for immediate behavioral health needs such as crisis intervention and therapeutic support. The IBHS also offers connection and professional case management services not only to internal NCNG resources but to federal, state, and community resources for both clinical and non-clinical needs. Needs include but are not limited to: 

Assistance with entitlement and insurance enrollment

Emergency funds

Employment

Food, utility, and mortgage relief

Housing

Intensive Outpatient Programs

Outpatient mental health treatment

Partial hospitalization

Psychiatric and substance abuse hospitalization

PTSD and TBI screening

Residential treatment

The IBHS clinical staff are regionally located throughout the state and housed in armories and Family Assistance Centers so that access to care for our RC Servicemembers and their Families is maximized. The IBHS abides by rules and regulations of DoDI 6490.08 and state and federal statutes concerning ethics and confidentiality. The IBHS is professionally staffed, voluntary, and free!
